Rudi Williams Top 8

6'2 190 G from coastal carolina. Will be a junior with 3 years of eligibility left.

averaged almost 15 ppg on 50% shooting, 44% from 3. also had 3 apg

offer list is decent...
What about that offer list is decent?? Pretty much us and a bunch of dregs.

Well, we just got a guy from Eastern Carolina, that’s pretty much the same school so…

He'll be a grad student with 1 year of eligibility? Played 2 years at JuCo, 1 year at K State, 1 year at CCU
oh the JUCO years werent listed on espn, thought he'd only been in school for 2 years.

yeesh.

A guy planning to transfer within a month can't narrow it down more than 8? Pass. We don't need anyone lacking maturity like that. He should know what he's after by now, he's not 17.

Juco is such an unknown - it is nothing like major college ball - i.e. at a lot of the programs the players aren’t treated that great/ they do their own recruitment (kind of like an nfl guy being their own agent), it’s really odd. I speak from experience as we had a juco win a national title in the past decade from our town.

I’d bet the % is pretty high of people switching schools after first move to a 4-year school. I like this kid’s highlight tape a lot. Can do a lot of things.

Because they are in the same state?? That’s an interesting take

This kid is going to want to start somewhere. Doubt we could get him to take a bench role

As long as we also got castle to reclass he checks all the boxes

We say bench. But right now he’s be the second ball handler. 20-25 minutes a game easy
Exactly, even if his shooting percentages drop by 10% because of the tougher competition, he would still be a good option because we need another ball handler.
