Round 1 Friday games thread

Hopefully Allen Graves won't be 1st rounder and decides to play college basketball next year. I am locking on him as a target.
The team that just beat him will probably throw 3 mil at him.

How many times will a 6’ Wright State guard go right at the best Virginia shot blocker before they learn their lesson?

They blew it down the stretch after being up 70-67, let's go, Hofstra...
Have to root for Speedy Claxton. The last time Hofstra made the NCAAT was 25 years ago when their current head coach Speedy Claxton was their starting PG.

What Iowa St is doing to their 15 is exactly what you want to see from a 1 or 2 seed. Hope UConn can let us breathe easily tonight.
They have been really consistent all year long. They don't play down to the competition.

Utah State is lighting up Villanova early. Some pretty explosive athletes, too.

Chuck said that SC should have called a Time Out after the made 3 and forced them to pass the ball in. I agree.
Absolutely. Sendak should have been more vociferous in calling the TO. Inexcusable.

Good news for MOH Rick Barnes is coaching the other team, bad news for MOH Rick Barnes has better players he can't screw this up.

Zona will win a 100-70 type of game next rd, will be like watching UNLV vs Loyola Marymount.

This tourney feels like it's been a bunch of teases so far. A lot of 10-13 seeds have played close, but not quite. Santa Clara, Wright State, Hofstra, USF, Kennesaw. McNeese was pretty close for most of the game, too.

I think you’re overestimating Pope’s recruiting pull
His pull has been flacid so far. He doesn't have one HS recruit signed yet - not a one. It's almost hard to believe. Hard to tell if it's the UK NIL structure or Pope.

This Jasper Johnson kid from OT Elite was supposed to be better than this.

Don't allow yourself to get teased this happens more often than ya think.
