Although he showed nothing at UConn to show he could run the show at point
He was 2/3 with great athleticism whose handle improved somewhat at UConn. He could put it on the floor in the open but wasn’t a great passer. But we had Adams. We have bad memories of him trying to fill in when Jalen was hurt but how fair is that.Yeah his natural position is more SF than it is PG. He averaged 1.8 assists and 1.7 TOs at UConn. No shot. Kevin Ollie was an idiot but he wasn't THAT dumb.
But if his coach in Europe wants to showcase the American on the team to get some $, good for them.
I’m sure them being out had no impact. In 2016-17 when Gilbert and Adams were hurt Purvis was our point guard. We lost to Houston 62-46,

I like Purvis and am glad he's having success overseas. It was cool he got a cup of tea in the NBA as well. Good guy
Umm, thanks for sharing? He was an average player no matter what position he played.
Purvis was very athletic and a good ambassador for the team. I think it would have taken someone like Calhoun to straighten out his court awareness and focus on fundamentals. JC seemed to find the right recipe for anyone who had a thick enough skin to take his in-your-face style. Like calling a timeout 30 seconds into the game on someone who did something stupid. I think Rodney probably had a pretty thick skin. That might have been a great experiment to watch. He was 2/3 with great athleticism whose handle improved somewhat at UConn. However like some other guys who weren’t natural PG ‘s they got better RB while still a UConn or post College Jerome Dyson and apparently Purvis
If you can make the transition you do because most PG ‘s can be combo’s but few pure two’s can be. When roster spots are limited who are you going to keep?
Sorry if the truth hurts. His tweet is referring to his shortcomings bc he was playing out of position. That’s not the case. For a 5* player out of high school he didn’t live up to the hype.Umm, thanks for sharing?

So an average player gets a drink of water in the NBA? Who Knew!He was an average player no matter what position he played.
An average college player sees zero time in the NBA.
