When they were at their peak--with Lowell--they could really cook on a number of levels.
From their humbled beginnings as a Mothers spin-off band (FZ: "You & Estrada got ideas? Start your own band"), they thankfully played LA's Stones equivalent to Steely Dan's counterpart Beatles analogue, in a company town diving toward its nadir during the lazy, bloated period of corporatized arena rock.
 
I would have to find room for "Two Trains" and "All That You Dream," the latter of which will forever remind me of the final episode of the "The Sopranos."
Great songs. Willin has got to be up there
 
No idea where the Friday talk came from but doesn't seem like he's committing today, and every fanbase on Twitter seems to think they're getting him
