Rip would have stayed...

Calhoun wouldn't have let him stay regardless. Calhoun was definitely the kind of coach that pushed players out of the nest if they were having trouble understanding when it was in their interest to leave.

it may not seem logical that Rip would have stayed...but what about players like DD, for whom there were good arguments to both to stay and to go & have taken a risk to declare early?

I really believe it would have been in DD's best interest to stay, get stronger, improve in area's which were obvious and become more of an all around player. But who knows……not sure KO was able to extend his full input in this one honestly as sometimes these kids need to make some money and see it differently. I hope it results in DD reaching his goals but I believe he will be using the KO route to do that!
