I feel stupid not knowing the answer to this but can someone share the way Stanley became "Sticks"? From all I've read, the nickname goes way far back.

He got the nickname from his family as a kid because of his long limbs.

I watch highlights and I am reminded of Amida Brimah. Like, they could have been brothers. Enthusiasm and college life in a ball of Husky.

A huge part of Uconn basketball died and it even feels like a piece of you is taken away as Stanley Robinson has always been etched into us over the years, giving you that joy to watch and talk about Uconn basketball. At midnight madness they should have a Stanley Robinson award to whoever wins the dunk contest.
