OT: - RIP Lawrence Moten | The Boneyard

OT: RIP Lawrence Moten

I liked Moten a lot - my generation of hoops watching, him and Wallace were the first Cuse great players. As a 2G I appreciated his smooth game.

Way too young man. RIP.

Rest in peace. One of my favorite players to watch in the 90s.

‘Cuse had some great players in the 80s as well…Among them include Pearl Washington, Sherman Douglas, Derrick Coleman & Billy Owens…

You could always tell he loved playing against UConn, he rarely disappointed.

Amazing how after so many years, there are some opponents you only need to hear the name and then you vividly remember them in uniform. Not many have that effect, but Molton is one of them.

I agree, I just didn't watch them.

My post was just referencing when my era of watching hoops started, he and John Wallace were the big dogs.

I knew about DC and Seikaly etc. from NBA but I didn't watch them in the 80s.

Wow....wow...
Prayers to his family. Hard to believe. May he rest in peace.
Lord knows he was a problem in that Orange uniform back in the day. He's one of those Big East/College Basketball greats that helped make the game timeless...no matter how much they are trying g to change the game as we know it today.
