There were times that Joan's humor went off key, but when she was on it was BULLSEYE! An authentic one of a kind. I'll miss her.

Her last TV appearance (that I know of) was the other day in a fashion review of the attendees for the MTV video awards and Emmys, which were on consecutive days just before this show. She was very rude, brutal - I think it is unfortunate that's how I will remember her.
