RIP Eddie Money | The Boneyard

RIP Eddie Money

One of the few "TURN IT UP!!!!" rockers once you heard the opening notes!

Rest in Peace, Eddie!!!

I liked Eddie overall, but truly loved his No Control album from 82/83. Somewhat biographical and great songs on both sides of the vinyl. Didn't hurt that I was in lust with a girl named Roseanne, so having Shakin' and Rosanna by Toto on the FM dial frequently kept my mind singularly focused. Sadly it was an unrequited lust. :(

Only knew him because he put my first love in one of his videos. Still love 'em skinny.

Saw Eddie Money at Eastern CT State when I was a student at UConn. Must have been around 1989 or so. Really good show. Was at the Big E this evening and Loverboy performed. They played Two Tickets to Paradise as tribute to Eddie. I guess they played a lot of shows together. RIP

Loverboy is still around? Wow.

Yeah I looked up their tour and they still have quite a few dates all over the country and Canada. Casinos and festivals. Saw another 80s staple, Pat Benatar at Tanglewood a few weeks ago. She was really good too

How was Loverboy Vuce? We almost didn’t head to RI for the weekend to go see them.

They were very good. I was with two other couples and all of us thought they sounded great. It was a 90 min show. The lead singer has put on a few lbs (haven’t we all) but his voice is still there. Four original members still in the band which is pretty good after 40 years

Was always a big Eddie Money fan. Two Tickets and Gimme Some Water are my favorites. I saw him around twenty years ago headlining a triple bill at the Reno Hilton. Survivor, Loverboy and then Eddie. Was a very fun show, but Eddie's voice was already failing him a bit that night. RIP.

I saw Eddie Money live at the West Hartford Agora around the time of Shakin'. He was great, he rocked. No ballads unless you consider Trinidad a ballad. I always rooted for the guy after that show.
