Yes, I do. So did the ACC when they extended the offer to Syracuse and Pitt. So do most people on this board when they bemoan the fact that we are faced with a situation where we have to replace Syracuse and Pitt with football programs like Air Force and Navy that have performed better than those schools over the past eight years. So what is your point? Do you think you are the only one who realizes these facts? Or are you looking for someone, anyone, to castigate because you are pissed off like the rest of us that recent on-the-field performance has less to do with success than history and pure dumb luck?

The point is that this hit is not nearly as bad as the 2003 hit was, and the Big East recovered fine from that one. 3 years from now Houston and TCU could be Top 15 teams playing a Saturday prime time, conference game on ABC, Pitt will be .500 and Syracuse will be losing again, and we will be wondering what the hell we were so worried about.

What's wrong with Houston, ECU and UCF? Oh that's right they would want to come in for all sports and the basketball schools don't want to be outvoted.

This one is much, MUCH worse because you have the bedrock school of the conference (Syracuse) leaving, and especially because there aren't any sleeping giants out there as attractive as USF and UL were.
