“As bad as Stewie’s been playing, just getting here and I checked her shoes and the right one was on the right foot, and the left one was on the left foot,’’ Auriemma said. “So she was way ahead of the game as far as I was concerned. Anything she did after that was gravy.’’

When she came in and had that spurt on Saturday, I found myself feel like the Tom Hanks character in "A League of their Own" when he sees that Dottie has come back for the deciding game of the World Series.

I was really happy to see Breanna do what she did. One thing she did was not rely on treys. She was inside and I think took only one trey she made. She needs to continue to play closer to the basket. It will continue to make her confidence grow and on defense with her arm reach shes very effective.

She has alot of talent and as the season continues if she continues as she did againest the Hall she will be big on Saturday and Monday at ND. This is a pleasant surprise, along with seeing Bria making her comeback. With Bria and Breanna playing like they can UConn is almost unbeatable. The next month is going to be very exciting.

"We're going to the VERY Top."

On no, he's trying to get OldeCoach started.

I hope she can perform like this against some real competition. We need here in BIG games, not just against Seton Hall et. al.

So glad you guys let me visit. Been gone for 3 days.

Genoisms would never fly down here in the genteel south so they are always fun. Kim has come close, but never names names. Geno is my Willie Nelson of women's bball.

One thing I'm mytified by is how few jump-hooks Breanna has attempted this season. I might have just seen the first one against Seton Hall, and it wasn't that good of an attempt.

Breanna is ridiculously long, she's got great athleticism, and this shot was one of her favorites coming into college. It is a very difficult shot to stop. I don't know that opponents are really overplaying her defensively in anticipation of this shot. I could be wrong. Is is just that she does not like turning toward the lane when there's a lot of contact?

This is a shot she needs to own again. Come on, Stewie!!!!! :)
