Lame. They couldn't even put together a visual schedule grid like the ACC did. We just can't win.

Just have to go look for it...

So Memphis is replacing Syracuse or is it SDSU?
San Diego State. I look at this and I keep thinking we really should have a winning record...I mean we also have Towson and Buffalo and Maryland at home. Bu tif you were trying to set up some kind of rivarly games out of this mess to end the season I guess UConn-Temple, Cincy-Memphis, UCF-USF, and Houston-SMU would be the ones.

Well this is it, the last hoorah of somewhat entertaining football at the Rent, thanks in large part (I can't believe I'm about to say this) to Jeff.

What is actually incredible is that Warde still hasn't signed a single agreement to play games in 2014/2015 and beyond.

Should be a very competitive schedule. I would say we will be an underdog in half these games.

I feel like he is just using the Big East instability as an excuse to do nothing. What he should be doing is putting together something, anything for those years and let the Big East figure out how to work around it (and I don't even care if they are 2-1's with UConn hosting at FedEx). If we get invited to a better conference in the meantime and have to cancel a game or two then so be it, at least you maintained interest until our salvation arrived and at this point that is worth more than any buy-out fee.

What really highlights his malfeasance is that he is worrying about Hockey and Lacrosse right now while letting PP and GDL pull their same tried routine, both on the field and off it. We are a sinking ship that has only three life-rafts. One for PP, GLD, and WM. If Warde doesn't schedule a game within 2 months then I would throw his ass out on the street and hire a real AD that doesn't need his boss to face the Sports Press. I was a defender, but now I think he is a total clown.

@Northwestern, @Notre Dame, a MAC team, 1AA most likely a CAA member.

With no return trips I presume. So the home schedule is what: UH, ECU, Cinci, Tulane, Rhode Island, Buffalo?

If that's the schedule, then everyone here should do the smart thing and take FB season-ticket money and put it down on season tickets for UConn's first year in Hockey East.

Didn't Warde say that he was going to be working on the schedule post New Year's Day? Maybe he doesn't want to leak anything until it's complete. Just sayin'.

CC. I would be happy if you are right, and appreciate that there are still those here with a sense of optimism because I am not currently one of them.

I think the AD's hands are tied until the Big East gives him some conference dates so that he knows which ones are open. How do you schedule a non conference game in a particular year till you know what your conference dates are? And for that matter how many open dates your going to have to fill in a given year. I'll bet that's what the hold up is. Of course now with it being so late 2014's out of conference schedule might be limited because the big boys that we would want to play already have those dates filled. The Big East might be more to blame for that than the AD. And who knows...maybe he has schools lined up ..good schools..and they just need to know which of those early weeks are going to be open. I hate taking pot shots at folks until all the facts are in. Maybe I'm crazy but I like to give people the benefit of a doubt.

On a side note, now that no SDSU, who fills that 12th spot? Army? N. Illinois? W. Mich.? A school somewhere close enough to Cincy so that they can develop a natural rival? Somebody with a decent basketball team and a developing football program?

Yeah. I think we get 5 from Memphis, USF, Maryland, Towson and Buffalo. We would just need one between UCF, Temple, Rutgers and SMU.

I see Towson, Buffalo, Maryland, Memphis, Temple, SMU and SFU as should be wins. Cincy(because of all the turmoil there), Rutgers and CFU as can be wins. Michigan and Louisville as upset wins. We don't get Houston this time around.

You guys really counting @SMU as an easy win? Did you see their d-line in the Hawaii Bowl? That is not a good matchup for us...
