The Huskies have played 17 games against teams in the Big Dance and 6 games vs teams that have made it to the WNIT. 9 games have been against teams that are 3 seeds or better. Yet, after losing the best woman in college basketball, with no All-Americans on the team, and with 5 of their top 8 players either sophomores or freshmen, the Huskies managed a 29-4 record and a Big East tournament title. Very nice.
