Now this is looking more like the year St. John's just had.
True. I meant in comparison to whoever said we would look like 2011-12 St. John's next year. We won't; PC might yet. They still have Council and Henton who are better than any upperclassman SJU had.

That would be me. Noone said their can't be more than one 'St. John's' next season.... Any chance Dunn and Ledo ask for their releases now that UCONN has more playing time and needs scorers? Maybe Drummond stays one more year to play and Dunn joins him??True. I meant in comparison to whoever said we would look like 2011-12 St. John's next year. We won't; PC might yet.
Wait, can St. John's be the St. John's of next year, too? That would be me. Noone said their can't be more than one 'St. John's' next season.... PC just barely got by in the APR scores last year. Over the past few years several players have left their program for various reasons. Not sure if any of these guys left in poor academic standing. But, it's possible this supposed worst yet news to hit in PC land could be a below acceptable APR score.
If they are ineligible for next years tourney, perhaps we can arrange an APR tourney!!
Does it matter to Provy if they're banned for APR reasons? Don't you actually have to have a shot of making the tourney for the APR ban to really mean anything?
Providence seems to have been ineligible for the postseason for years now.
Impressively, they have matched us misstep for misstep every offseason for a couple of years now. It seems that we take turns receiving bad news - I guess it's our serve again.
Honestly, if a meteorite ever smashes down onto earth, the only thing that would surprise is if it didn't hit one of our two campuses.
Yes, we are as cursed as Providence. It's not like we have won a national championship in the past 14 months.
That's clearly not his point. He's saying that both programs have received some awfully bad off the court news in recent years.
I get that. But since off the court news is only relevant to the degree it effects on the court performance, forgive me if I don't think we're as likely to take the meteor hit as Providence is.
I don't think PC is in any danger. Even a meteorite would take a look at Providence, Rhone Island once it got close and decide to crash somewhere else.Providence seems to have been ineligible for the postseason for years now.

It already crashed in Fall River.I don't think PC is in any danger. Even a meteorite would take a look at Providence, Rhone Island once it got close and decide to crash somewhere else.
