Alaska is the furthest east state in the nation. They are, in small part, substantially further east than us. So much so the Chinese would blush.

Fairly certain the worst was SDSU and the non-standard wording threw you. 2nd was not even close to SDSU. I think.

Try it with some punctuation: "and it, without a close second, was SDSU."

It's all a matter of changing the perspective.

At its inception, the "East" in Big East referred to the northeast US. Then it meant the Eastern time zone. Then it was east of the Mississippi. Now? Uh...East of the Pacific?
