Report: Purdue is pursuing Butch Jones

Less than one week after dismissing Danny Hope as head footballcoach, an update on Purdue’s search for his replacement:

No. 1 target?
All signs point to Cincinnati coach Butch Jones as the school’s first choice.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reported that “Purdue has shown strong interest ... although so far he has not received a firm offer.”
