Agree 100000%... who would you rather see, Texas, Oklahoma, Baylor... Or Tulane, Tulsa, Memphis ...Home attendance won't be a problem if we end up in the B12 (or any P5 conference).
Not only would home attendance skyrocket, but the Rent would be expanding immediately following any B12 invite. We would easily draw 50-55K for most games. If you offer season tickets with a home schedule that includes Texas, OU, TCU, Baylor, Ok State, WVU and OOC games against Boston College and/or Cuse or B1G teams, then season ticket sales will set records. There is absolutely zero doubt about that. No matter how good teams like Houston, Tulsa, Memphis, ECU, etc are, they don't move the needle for UConn fans. We are used to playing a BCS/P5 quality schedule and dropping down to mid-major/G5 scheduling does not excite our fanbase at all.
UConn's had its problems, no doubt, but....True fans show up no matter the opponent. That's nothing more than an excuse that anybody can use.

Tom Herman's Not Happy With UH Attendance
Um, considering we drew twice UCONN's crowd multiple times this year, I don't think you want to have this discussion.
You just got your arse kicked in basketball, peed all over in the basketball forum, now you decide to stop by here and throw turd balls?
Getting nervous that Houston might not make the cut?
Typical answer from a Class A turd....thanks for coming around today...you truly showed why Houston was ostracized when the SWC broke up.No, not really. Either we do or we don't.
A Big XII invite does not automatically shut to door to a possible Big Ten membership down the line.

I don't see the Big12 expanding into New England. It's just impractical for all parties concerned when anyone in this part of the country can see just about any one of their games already. Was there an important Big12 game not televised on either the Fox, ABC, CBS or ESPN network of channels around here this year?

Go back to your own board...Um, considering we drew twice UCONN's crowd multiple times this year, I don't think you want to have this discussion.
Report: With a single 10-0 Season Record, Houston a Lock for Big XIIUCONN will go to the B1G or ACC before they go to the Big 12. Then again, Big 12 leadership is pretty inept, so we'll see what happens.
You are correct, the true and hardcore fans show up regardless of opponent. Casual fans do not (unless their team is undefeated, ranked, and playing for something big). That's why Houston only had 25k show up for SMU and 29K show up fro Vandy mid-season home games, but sold out for Navy and Memphis.True fans show up no matter the opponent.
