Russia's superior size is causing Team USA problems but so far Russia is missing their shots.

Announcers did say Sherrie was willing to give Russia three point shots and wanted to plug the middle to counteract Russia's size advantage.

USA game focus is to clog the paint, they are allowing Russia to shoot from beyond the arc - well, not allowing, but anyway I think that Russia has only made 2 or 3 shots from long range.

41 - 27 with 30 seconds left in 2nd Qtr. Russia has the ball. USA could have extended the lead as well as Russia could have cut into the lead significantly. Sloppy play by both teams in the last minute. There was good defense played as well.
