When teams wouldn't dare come into the paint against UConn because they'd get the living daylights smacked out of the ball? We need those days. I loved the effort tonight but it was just so frustrating seeing them go again again straight to the basket. They don't have a Kemba either, it was all different people.

Yeah things change and I would expect a couple certainl individuals to not allow these things and be less concerned for foul trouble...........too easy sometimes........agreed

It boggles my mind how a kid Drummond's size doesn't understand that you need to fill the freaking lane when someone is driving to the hoop. Has he taken a single charge all year? But regardless, forget taking the charge... just step BETWEEN the ball and the basket when someone is driving the lane! Get in their way and create a difficult shot! It boggles my mind how someone his height literally steps to the side when someone 6+ inches shorter than him is driving to the hook for a layup.

I'm not sure I want Drummond taking charges as not too many 6'11 kids do but they certainly know how to help on defense....his size alone is a game changer and just moving his feet and putting his hands up will alter shots............now I aree guys like Tyler and Roscoe should be taking charges but the whole team is shotblock happy including alex.............take a charge it takes some balls and it's a good play at times............

Tyler should be the one hammering hard fouls, if he fouls out, not really a big loss

Right, guys like Thabeet weren't that great players but in college he'd just stand there with his massive body and block 50% of the shots and alter the other half. No reason Andre can't do the same.

That should be Wolf's job. Or maybe they can do a tag-team thing. When Syracuse was driving at will in the first half, I kept yelling at George from the stands to put in Wolf just because I wanted him to go in and send a message. Obviously, George did not heed my advice. I'm telling you this game would've been different if he did though...

It was probably during one of his 'cat naps' on the bench so you need to speak louder. 9 pm is a late start!
