Reibe is a really talented player. He started several games while Tarris was hurt and played a major part in big games against Arizona, Illinois, and Kansas. Led the team in scoring twice

He either fell off then checked out, or checked out then fell off

If he fell off first…well, he’s a freshman center. Happens. If he doesn’t want to be here after a rough stretch, I don’t want him here. Best of luck

Not sure where you got that, but my guess is that it was very mutual that he was went on his way after that March. Tea leaves would be that between his group whining about minutes and his lackluster disengaged finish, he wasn't an effen Husky after all. They don't wilt like that. That was a day or two after he stated they were thinking about upgrading talent in some places, rather than hold on. Sounds like a direct shot at this point. That certainly isn't directed at any of the Fab 5 (Hurley loves), Silas or Mullins.

The Solo & Stew announcement taking a little longer than I thought. Not sure if they're waiting on Mullins to make up his mind first or not.

I could see Ross waiting on Mullins but why would Mullins factor into Ball and Stewart's decision?

Ball’s PT is quite possibly the most impacted by Mullins, especially if the plan is to play Mullins at the 2 more.

I want Ball back but if that is the price for Mullins coming back I would gladly pay it. Neither were great defensively but I feel Mullins has a higher ceiling defensively. Ideally we get them both back in which case Ross' PT will be more impacted. I could actually see Ball and Ross platooned again this year offense/defense like many times this year.

Ball is an absolute warrior and was hindered with injuries all year - he needs to heal. Expectations for a Senior Year Ball would be better than any portal player. I'm surprised that this is a discussion of wanting him back or not.

Demery, Ball, JRoss is the "core" they must retain and build from there. Need one or two dominoes to fall - get these decisions made. If anything weird happens - that Alex Wilkins kid should be a target. I'd have to follow up on some what's happened in the Portal site to see who's still available / who's not.

Spots are filling up on important teams with some decent freshman coming in. Tough to see any of our guys leave and think there's something better on April 13th. All these "expected" top 25 teams now have limited available spots.

100% on Solo. He's a warrior, he loves UConn as much as anyone has ever loved UConn, and everyone should want him back for his senior season. Dude played through extreme pain most of the season and his game suffered for it. You never heard a peep out of him complaining about it, he played through it for his teammates/the program.

The Reibe thing is puzzling but many schools are facing it. Remember the girlfriend where everything was sailing along and you did nothing wrong and all of a sudden it was over? Well this is sorta like that. Top team in the country with him about to be the starting center or if not starting with an equal split of the job. Just money? Didn’t like the coach? Unrealistic parental expectation, player unhappy, parents unhappy? He’s going to become a power forward and shoot 3’s all day? His goodby post tells nothing.
