Reibe and Furphy at FIBA U19s

Reibe clearly very skilled, but the decision-making and mental side of the game definitely needs a fair amount of seasoning. Plus adding strength all over (core, lower body, arms).

Announcers say he is 6'4 which in my mind takes him out of being a bonafide 3 and turns a lineup with him at the 3 to a 3 guard set. I did like the physicality he showed boxing out a much bigger player in the post. An away from the ball play.

Measured 6'4.5 barefoot a year ago, listed at 6'6. He's a great player.

Furphy is all alone out here
Got half their points, running the point or playing 2. I think he will end up somewhere between a Cam-ish or Giffey-ish 3man who handles- not in terms of impact freshman yr, but playing style

Siulepa is an annoying player

He's going to play a lot.

The wing is crowded and we knew that. But honestly everyone on campus not named Solo should be running to Werth right now because someone's not going to be happy when the kid from Tasmania starts cooking.

He's the leading scorer at halftime vs Team USA shooting 67% from the field and 50% from 3. Absolutely wild.

I gotta wonder what our plan is at the 5 right now as a backup. Reibe COULD be ready but I see no guarantee without a serious summer and fall for him in the gym. Koroma?

Love Furphy! Cam Spencer/Kon Knueppel type player. Will see a ton of minutes from the get-go.

I expect the 2nd half to get sloppy. First half was the real game unless Aus pulls off a miracle

Yes to the wing being crowded but he's really good and really versatile. He'll get minutes at the wing, shooting guard, and point guard. That's the beauty of a player like him, there won't be much of a drop off or any drop off at all when he comes in and he can play several different positions if we're in a pickle with injuries or foul trouble.
