I've liked a lot of what I've been seeing out of Reed, but he has one habit that the staff needs to coach out of him. He often brings the ball down below his shoulders when he catches it in the post. Good opposing coaches will point that out and have their player exploit that.
UConn's coaches need to drill into him to keep the ball high and away from the defenders and go up strong with it. He has a wide frame where he should be creating more space and finishing more often and more easily at the rim. I'm sure the staff is working hard teaching that. Both Sanogo and Clingan were exceptional at that.
Reed has done so many other good things such as rebounding, creating space down low where he's caught so good enty passes and finished, setting solid screens, nice passing & kickouts and knocked down some midrange shots. He's only going to get better.
