They were a bubble team that went 16-11 and was NIT bound. Not a success.
He de-commit from Cuse?I’m all in on Benny Williams
Who we talking about here? How about a team that went 25-10 and won a game in the tournament with a freshman pg who had a 247 composite ranking of 273?
Who we talking about here?
Not yet. Just assuming his good sense. With his NLI signed and the transfer rule, I wonder if he could transfer without sitting out and not need the curmudgeon to let him out of his letter. He de-commit from Cuse?
Our position here is that a kid who averaged 22 minutes (6th most on team) and put up 5 and 2 is our standard for success here? I don't think that's quite the same of what we're talking about here.Jeff Dowtin (on Hurley’s 16-17 URI team)

Didn't watch URI so I can't comment too deeply. Those sorts of numbers don't scream out "individual difference maker," which is the sort of thing people seem to be expecting from our freshmen.“Our”? I’m not a royal. I’m speaking as someone who watched that team. I’m well aware of his numbers. I’m also aware of what he brought to that team. He moved into the starting role, increased his minutes, and changed everything that season- that’s the standard of success. We won’t know until the roster is set what exactly they’ll need from the pg next season. I hope Rahsool stays patient.
How is he shooting wise?
This is going to be a tremendous sh tshow when it all goes down.Kansas has to be a longshot. Likely going to get hit with heavy sanctions and dump Bill Self according to my sources. @Fishy will be pleased.

Like I said earlier. Good luck with that. Time for some new sources.Kansas has to be a longshot. Likely going to get hit with heavy sanctions and dump Bill Self according to my sources. @Fishy will be pleased.
In all likelihood, that probably was what was going to happen. Self had to put it in his contract that he can't get fired for cause when the infractions results are announced.Like I said earlier. Good luck with that. Time for some new sources.
Say no to amateur basketball mercenaries. Say no to hypocrites and clowns like the NCAA who try to pin the blame on some coaches and universities for recruiting violations etc, when these clowns are enacting and supporting destructive policies that lead to much worse than recruiting violations. Corruption will increase big time more than was already present.
This is why Roy Williams retired. Idiots and fools who support these policies will lead their own children to a lifetime of misery thinking every action and relationship at every second must be transactional in order for them to come out ahead. They will never start and never finish.
All fools who support these actions and policies should have their jobs transferred to Alaska/North Dakota or overseas that way their companies can maximize profits at their expense.
