I was pretty surprised to hear it had the best opening weekend of any of the movies in the franchise. I don't have any recollection of how it did, but I assumed the original w/ Arnie was fairly successful.I watched predator badlands. The script won’t win any awards. But it looked great, it sounded great, and it was a lot of fun. Exactly what I was in the mood for!
Predator was No. 1 at the US box office in its opening weekend with a gross of $12 million. The film ranked 12th place in the domestic market for the calendar year 1987. The film grossed $98,267,558, of which $59,735,548 was from the US & Canadian box office. $38,532,010 was made in other countries. I've been a fan for quite a while.Deutch is a star and no one seems to know to know it.
You might like The Last Seduction if you haven't seen it.And Linda Fiorintino...hello!!!
I liked this movie a lot. Surprised that I did, too."Train Dreams" was briefly in theaters a few weeks ago, now on Netflix. I'd read a bit about it, got really good reviews. Just watched it. Huh. It's different than anything I've seen before. Contemplative is probably the word I would use to describe it. Stars Joel Edgerton and Felicity Jones.
I enjoyed this. Definitely makes you think about life. It’s deep and contemplative. A good movie to watch by yourself. I found this line in a review of the movie to be especially descriptive of what the movie is trying to achieve. It’s about “The things we lose, the things we gain, some of it important, some of it not at all, some laced with love, happiness, pain, grief. The bitterest of sweets, the sweetest of bitters, life.”I liked this movie a lot. Surprised that I did, too.
Not an Edgerton fan thanks in part to the crappiness of "They Came at Night."
Here, a loner loggerman making a living, finds love. "Marries", builds a house, has a daughter and...tragedy."
Lives the rest of his life living, waiting.
Weapons. Stars Julie Garner as a somewhat quirky elementary school teacher named Justine in suburban PA. Josh Brolin is a dad of a kid in her class. It’s starts off narrated by a young boy. Explaining what happened in town, 17 kids all got up at 2:17 AM ran out the door and were not seen again. They were all from Justine’s class, which now had only one boy show up, Alex. There is some gore here, and a mystery to be solved. It maintains suspense for quite a while then the intensity increases. I thought it was good.
I don't really like horror movies. I find them really boring. But this is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time.
Nobody 2 (2025)
Bob Odenkirk stars. Old guy continues to beat the snot outta bad guys. Very entertaining.
Sharon Stone isn't horrible as a new age mob boss.
They couldn't make Superman too powerful too soon because it leaves them with nowhere to go. And he was losing because he was fighting a version of himself that knew how to fight and didn't hold back. But he didn't quit and triumphed in the end. Truth, justice and the American Way.

Superman was always a problem because he's OP from day one. So they invented Kryptonite and a nemesis that is simply a lot smarter than him. His real weakness is that you can threaten innocents and impact his behavior. The reporters are the ones who actually triumphed.
You are well into creepy old man territoryThe main triumph is the few seconds we get of Supergirl. A knockout Supergirl, who owns Krypto the dog and likes to planet hop so she can get drunk is a real triumph.

I do like Rachel Brosnahan as Lois. The main triumph is the few seconds we get of Supergirl. A knockout Supergirl, who owns Krypto the dog and likes to planet hop so she can get drunk is a real triumph.
