No, here is the point.

Charleston 45 - 31 WIN
Texas A&M 43 – 29 WIN
Wake Forest 44 – 32 WIN
Marist 44 – 24 WIN
Purdue 36 - 27 WIN
Colgate 44 – 28 WIN
Maryland 39 – 41 WIN
Penn St 41 - 43 WIN
Oakland 57 – 30 WIN
Hartford 35 – 23 WIN
Stanford 42 – 49 WIN
Oregon 50 – 38 WIN
Notre Dame 46 – 48 LOSS
Georgetown 46 - 46 WIN

The 3 of the 4 games that UConn was outrebounded they won. The one game they were outrebounded by 7, they killed the other team.

The next time overall rebounding causes UConn to lose, then you might have a point. Until then it's like complaining about Cindy Crawford mole.
Point taken but better rebounding and put backs would help take the pressure off of our outside shooters.

Now there is stating the obvious.

You do know that there are other teams on the court that are pretty darn good rebounding teams, don't you?

Maryland, Penn State, Stanford and Notre Dame. And they were right with them. I really don't get the complaining, especially with Stokes not available and the fact that UConn still was able to garner right around 40 rebounds against those teams.

Do you watch any of Geno's press conferences? He has consistently said that the team is not rebounding to his liking. So what is your point? You are essentially saying Geno and those of us who think we need to do a better job with rebounding are nuts and you are correct?

Let's see, if you have the same opinion as Geno i.e. rebounding, you can use this as proof that you are right, but when you don't agree with Geno, i.e. high/low play, you can dismiss his expertise because you know better.

Too much...lol.

Care to offer some proof of that? You are a smart doctor. I'm sure you can look at all my posts and find those situation.

The common denomiator is that you think you are right in both instances. Must be a tough burden to bear, this perfection thing.

O.K. This has become a thread about posters rather than a thread about UConn Women's Basketball. Not what we are about.
