Huge recruit.... If she chooses ND... ND will be a formidable foe for UCONN in the Big East in the coming years.

If she chooses Duke..... Duke will remain at the top of the ACC in the coming years... and will quiet down some of the yapping coming down Interstate 40 West out of Chapel Hill.

UConn and ND being in the same conference over the course of any 2013 recruit's career is not a given by any means.
 
I hope she chooses Duke because the Duke/NC games will be battles full of talent. It would be a great competitive rivalry to watch!
 
Great pickup for either school. Greenwell will be an All American by her Sophomore. Suspect she'll go to Duke.

to the outside wcbb world it maybe great to see a competitive rivalry... but im just fine with seeing 30 point beatdowns in Duke's favor :D
 
Interesting! I would have thought Louisville/Kentucky would have made the final list! Shows what I know. Let's hope she goes to Duke, but I'm betting she ends up at ND.

Count me among the surprised as well. Both ND and Duke have been on a recruiting tear the past few years. I also thought Kentucky and L'ville would factor in, but she was also one of the 6 players many Tennessee fans thought they'd land (along with Deshields, and Gray who subsequently went to UNC).

No one on our board has thought Tenn would land Greenwell in forever.

And also no has wanted another 6-pack. It messes too much with the numbers.

I believe the thread you're referring to was after a chat and was a joke by some to bait y'all. It was reported here within an hour so people got their kick from it. :)

Even some here got a kick from it. People noted (but didn't post) that you could google the thread title and see the first couple of lines in which the OP admitted up front it was a ruse to bait the UConn fans.
 
Whether it was recent or not, there must have been weeping and gnashing of teeth in Knoxville. Their all-important class of 2013 is looking subpar.

Either ND or Duke will be loaded. Though some of the Duke alums in my area can be insufferable, the ND folks are worse. Go get her, Triad!
 
From the get-go I thought she was a ND lean, but she can't go wrong with Duke either. I like both teams and both coaches, especially the Dukies. Go ahead and pencil her in as a 4 year starter, and start watching her light up the scoreboard !

No one? That's just bull. Before y'all went hiding under your rocks, there were several posters that had Greenwell on your list. And not to bait. But you guys are masters at baiting.

Remind me to never lay down for a nap after reading a Boneyard thread where Tenn is mentioned. Just had a weird dream that I was in Knoxville watching a Oklahoma-Tenn Regional Final...... (that Tenn won by 60 points) ... all while wearing a Duke Tshirt. I told some Vol fans as i was leaving that they would have won the NCAA title if Kelly Cain would have played this year. :confused: Then I got lost trying to get back to 40 East to come home...... and no Knoxville residents would help me with directions. When I finally got back home.... my parents were waiting in the den.. ready to ground me for sneaking away for the weekend and took my truck away. And I dont even own a truck :eek: Never have..


Well back to this thread..... UK and Louisville have to be very disappointed to have a top 10 recruit right in their backyard..... and not even make the final cut. I cant imagine the state of KY has had many elite top 10 players in history..... so this definitely hurts.. though I think it hurts Louisville more then KY.

Yes she was on our list, as are about 15 other players but no one ever thought she was a Tenn lean or even close.

Our 2013 class is looking mighty fine at the moment.
 
Something tells me Notre Dame. Not sure why but I just got the feeling that she is a ND lean.

At one time, the LV fans thought that they would get 15 of the top 10 recruits.
