Bennett overweight? The dude's a monster and can run the floor like a gazelle for his size, what are you thinking nelson?

How many NBA centers are 6'8 and look like that? I said he will be a great college player, but I don't see that guy going to the NBA anytime soon.

He's a PF in the NBA and is pretty versatile for a 19 yr old monster. There's no gut there to speak of and he's strong as hell, can shoot it from 15 and in consistently and can run the floor. 2-3 years best for him.......he could be a real good one or a bust that I do not know but I do know there are GM's from the NBA who I am sure are watching him closely already!

Don't really care enough about Bennett to argue either way. He will be back next year, and UNLV will be very good.

Holy crap Nelson this list is a joke, I seriously hope you were kidding with this. Nobody can actually be this clueless.

Ohh, but he is. It may defy the laws of physics, gravity, nature, and West Virginia, but he has an uncanny ability to post things that are beyond absurd on a regular basis.

And Russ Smith's dad just told reporters his son is going into the draft. So Louisville loses 3 starters; I don't see them a top 5 team. Maybe borderline top 10 if the freshmen PGs and Ware really break out.

The guards they are bringing in are supposed to be the real deal. They still have Hancock, Blackshear, and (hopefully) Ware on the wings. They'll miss Dieng defensively but Behanan and Harrell are really good inside. Harrell's a stud, and he played 12 minutes last night.

There are going to be 40 legitimate underclassmen declaring, and roughly half will return to school. If it shakes out differently, it shakes out differently.

If you declare, then you are pretty much in the draft. There is no more testing the waters so it makes pretty much no sense to declare for the draft if you don't have any intentions of staying in.

No, it isn't - because the ESPN list includes four no-brainers that you left out in Kentucky, Louisville, Duke, and Ohio State.

tOSU's Thomas is nasty, and will be missed. Louisville will be good, but they lose Dieng and Smith, their two most important players. Top 20 team, probably not top 10. Duke loses their top 3 scorers. I guess you think Thomas, Plumlee, Curry, Dieng and Smith all suck and their teams will be better without them. You are entitled to that opinion.

With Kentucky, I am saying this years high school all star team will not play well with next year's.

Outside of Ohio State, who returns every player of note other than Thomas, you are vastly underestimating, or maybe not even considering, the quality of players that Louisville, Kentucky, and Duke are bringing in for next year.

USAToday this morning doesn't even have us in their top 25 for 2013 - 14, nor the next 18 teams they have under "Others Receiving Strong Consideration". Do they know we are eligible to field a team next year? Hell, we would have made the top 43 this year.

UConn was in their "Others Receiving Strong Consideration"

Still should be in the top 25, and when I look at some of the teams on their list, it's hard to imagine some of these being better than UConn.

Still, it is too early to really be making these predictions. For instance, look at Michigan. They are at the bottom of the list, but if "everyone returns, they are number 1".

Your lack of hoops knowledge is growing more apparent with every post. You may want to review the new ncaa rules regarding early entrants.

I like Arkansas without Powell and Young. There are a lot of minutes returning on that team, and the third year of a coach's tenure is when you often see a big bump.

Your best argument might be the opposite of the 1 you are making. Young and Powell led in scoring and minutes played last year. It would be the addition of Alandise Harris a transfer from Houston and Bobby Portis Jr. the McDonald's AA that could put the Razorbacks on the inside of the bubble. Neither logged any minutes last year.

Neither Young or Powell averaged over 30 minutes. They have some talent coming in, but I am more interested in the number of minutes returning and the fact that it is Anderson's 3rd year teaching a system that is not easy to learn.

Everyone focuses so much on recruiting, so I guess it must be true that freshmen are better than seniors.

All these comments almost make me want to take nelson off my ignore list just to get a good laugh. Almost.
