I mean… a win is a win and 2-0 in OT games is good to see, but

Jackson and Akok are keys to the press break. Long fast guys who can pass over it and make the defense never think of pressing us again. Ideally the ball should never touch the floor.

Very happy with the win. What’s the alternative? A loss? No one should be content with our play…..ever. We can always get better
The alternative is to not be happy with the play and lack of adjustments. It's been the same thing year after year. Instead of winning outright we battle back every game

There are people here who will watch us win two overtime games in three days, and lose a close game to a good team playing without one of our starters, and conclude the sky is falling.
It's been years of this

You mean Gaffney? Cole is the only person who can break a press or dribble the ball
Cole is definitely the best we have at those things, but he still was putting himself in tough situations too often. He has to stop dribbling into corners and getting himself trapped. Although, his teammates do not do him any favors when he gets in those situations by running away from the ball. These should be very correctable issues and hopefully these things are ironed out before the WVU game.

You said happy with the win. If you’re not happy we won the you’re a terrible fan.

Also years of what? 6-1 starts with 2 wins over top 100 teams SO FAR in OCC. What years recently were we doing that?

Hard to be too upset, the issues we talked about all offseason were there but we managed to pull out a win. We know what needs to be fixed and luckily it's game 7 of what's hopefully a 35+ game season. I'm not expecting a perfect product in November

But an ugly win is much better than an ugly loss! Kansas just lost to a Dayton team that was 2-3 with losses to UMass Lowell, Lipscom (are they even D1?), and Austin Peay.

Have to find minutes for diggins and Johnson next week against weaker teams so they can be useful the rest of the season.

AJax may never be a scorer, but he's like if Dennis Rodman were a PG. 14 boards, 4 assists led both teams.
I'm so torn with him. He rises out of the crowd to grab rebounds and makes some very good passes but he gets routinely toasted on defense, doesn't shoot well and commits a lot of careless turnovers.

No one is content. Some people just look at things in context. And choose not to panic over a 6-1 start with a win over a top 20 team and a close loss to a top 25 team. We have a lot of flaws to correct right now. But it’s November. And with our flaws we’re 6-1
