Tremendous career. Sympathy to his family and friends.

Although it seems he was still very active, I had seen him on TV and in "Saints" in the last few years an he didn't look well. He had gotten a very puffy and pale appearance. RIP.

Real shocker. Loved him in "Field of Dreams" and "Goodfellas". That scene with Joe Pesci about funny like a clown still cracks me up. He also had appearances in "Just Shoot Me". Way too young to go.

From 1978 to 1981 he was in a soap called, "Another World." I remember first seeing him in a movie called, "Something Wild."

I wonder if Anthony Hopkins does the autopsy.

Great actor and narrated my second favorite 30 for 30 - “Playing for the Mob”. RIP

My wife had no idea who he was
But on the tecent TV show with Jaylo who of course she knew. he stole every scene he was in . She became a fan
The guy had serious acting chops
RIP

RIP to Ray. Much too young. He gave us some great moments on screen, and I'm thankful for those.

RIP Ray.

While he was great in Goodfellas and Field of Dreams, the one scene of his that is most indelible to me was:

That was so freaking creepy. So realistic made me cringe. Always wonder if those really graphic scenes freak out the actors when they see it

“We always called ourselves Goodfellas”

Similar mantra as The Boneyard. RIP
Actually the movie was from the book, Wiseguys and that was supposed to be the name of the movie but as I recall a tv show had that name so they couldn't use it. The name, Goodfellas was made up

He was great in Something Wild.
That movie seems to have fallen off the radar. If you haven't seen it, put it on your list. And don't read about it too much first.

My favorite actor when I was younger. Something Wild, Unlawful Entry, Henry Hill, Shoeless Joe...

Nobody played creepy psychopaths like Ray Liotta but he also had some range. He was excellent as George Jung's heartbroken father in Blow.

We just watched "The Many Saints of Newark" last night. The way the world is going I was not surprised to hear this news. Too young for sure. RIP Ray.
