Ranking the UConn Teams

Toby Bailey played the game of his life. Guy averaging under 10 at the time goes for 26 on 10-16 shooting.

He did it again in the Championship game.
Forgot about him. Kinda the story of a lot of games we play to this day. šŸ˜‚ How many times have we heard, ā€œthis guy averages 3 points a game and he has 18ā€?

The bracket opened up for us -- none of the remaining teams would have beaten us with a healthy El-Amin.

There were more painful what-ifs with the Florida loss, the Jerome injury, George Mason....but the seas parted in 2000 if KEA doesn't roll an ankle

Generally agree.

Kinda off the topic, but 2000 was not a particularly good team, but it still rolls into the final four if KEA isn’t injured.
One of those bizarre what-ifs that, in the pre-2008 UConn era plagued us, but for the last 18 years has gone our way. The S16 game was a 8-seed UNC and the E8 game was a 7-seed Tulsa. I like that (healthy) team's chances.
