He tore his achilles at the end of last year. He played reasonably well for his team, I'd be surprised if he dropped down.

He's not bad at all. 9 pts and 5 boards in 18 minutes per game.

Look at his percentages, turnovers and foul rate. I wish him luck, but he was very bad this year from an efficiency standpoint.

He shot fine from 2 and his rebounding was very good. Certainly good enough in that conference with 2 more years of eligibility to grow.

I guess they didn't have Mrs Butterworth's there. CSU Northridge must be a Hungry Jack school.

A Kasongo/Lubin front court isn't looking so bad right now. C'mon I can't be the only one who'd thought this, at least for a second.

Lubin wasn't that bad his freshman year. He showed signs of being a serviceable big.

The only reason I feel nostalgic is that Lubin has been the only front court player to put up 225 for reps at the bench press. I like that.

I neglected to click Post Reply last night on a comment that referenced Kasongo, but not like this. That said, perhaps they could market themselves as a package deal.

His stats didn't look awful from 20,000' feet up, but I saw him play twice before he was injured last year...

He's pretty bad - he was averaging something like ten fouls per 40 minutes.

Not many kids seem to improve their standing after transferring from UConn, maybe somebody will this year. If there ever was a year it might happen, you'd think it would be this year.

Roscoe put up some impressive rebounding numbers, but he didn't want to be a 4 and UNLV made him a 4 anyhow

Roscoe in retrospect made the dumbest transfer decision ever.
His alleged motive was our standing.
He sat a year than in 2014 played for a team that went nowhere.
Meanwhile his former team ,consigned to the dust heap of history ,refused to go quietly into the night and made history instead.

and he still had to be a 4 :)

Roscoe was a better (and more entertaining) player than any of the guys we lost and yet some out we managed without him. I sometimes wonder if Ollie can catch lightening in a bottle a second time with "the guys that stayed."

There. I said it.
