R.I.P. Linc

Sorry to hear of the passing of actor Clarence Williams. His character Linc on the Mod Squad was one of my favorites growing up as a kid in the 70s. He was so cool in that show and played some good roles later on in the movies as well as some series.

We watched The Mod Squad all the time at UConn in the late 80's. We loved Linc. He was also a voodoo doctor on Miami Vice, in Tales from the Hood, in General's Daughter with Travolta, and Prince's father in purple Rain. There's more, but that's a good sampling.

RIP - I was almost 12 when it started and had the biggest crush on Linc. Was good in the other roles he played also.
