"I'm disappointed for our seniors, that they won't get the opportunity to fulfill their goals of having an opportunity to play for the National Championship" - Sylvia Hatchell

(If you lose by 51 points to UConn, you were not going to play for the National Championship....)
On the bright side, Sylvia's players won't have to endure any more of the "physical games" she is so concerned about.

To be precise" Comanche" was the horse of Capt. Myles Keogh, purched for the army in1868 at about 6 yrs of age. After the battle of the Little Big Horn, where he was severely wounded,he was sent on the steamer Far West with the other wonded to Fort Lincoln. After recovering he was retired from service and only led with the Ft.L.garrison on ceremonial occasions. He died Nov.1891 at Ft.Riley,Kansas and was stuffed by the Univ. of Kansas where he remains today.
-Stuffed????
-Glad I retired out of Quantico, instead of Ft Riley!
-In retrospect, guess my retirement ceremony seemed livelier, although admittedly not as fulfilling.
