No. Pretty sure teams like Prairie View A&M are just excited to be there at all with an opportunity to play a program like UConn. I can promise you not a soul in that program is thinking about a national championship.

UNC had opportunities to pick up signature wins but never did. Meanwhile, that game against UConn was embarrassing. Prairie View A&M might not fare significantly worse.

UNC's problem wasnt the loss to UConn, it was the loss to Clemson and its abysmal non-conference slate. Their best non-ACC win was a 4 point victory over 12-19 East Carolina.

Excuse me, but Calvary is a biblical hill, but the Cavalry comprises the band of military horsemen noted for nick of time rescues of beleaguered forts.

After a career in the Army, cringing at every reference to "horse calvary," soldiers getting "orientated" (acquainted) or "acclimatized" (to new surroundings), I gravitated to a venue where the useful word "difference" has been replaced by "differential," where commentators "commentate" (when not coversating), and sports teams are now "programs."

Then there are garbage men who have become "sanitation engineers," salesmen are now "marketing specialists" or "account executives," and secretaries are all "administrative assistants."

I wish this darned NCAA tournament would begin. "Madness," for sure.

To be precise" Comanche" was the horse of Capt. Myles Keogh,purched for the army in1868 at about 6 yrs of age. After the battle of the Little Big Horn,where he was severely wounded,he was sent on the steamer Far West with the other wonded to Fort Lincoln.After recovering he was retired from service and only led with the Ft.L.garrison on ceremonial occasions.He died Nov.1891 at Ft.Riley,Kansas and was stuffed by the Univ. of Kansas where he remains today.
