Question- Recruting Closing %

Do any of you guys, maybe 3, know what is a good or our recruiting closing percentage?
1.) How many recruits does a team offer do they expect to accept?
2.) How many recruits that visit does a team expect to close?

I am thinking about 5% (1 out of 20) for the first and 20% for the second.

I like being able to play 5 guys and have others on the bench who can contribute.

And those 5 guys win a lot of games.

Although its an interesting stat, Closing Pct can be very misleading.

For example, when I was single, I used to ask out a lot of really hot, I mean out-of-my-league-hot chicks.
Naturally, they all turned me down, which really killed my Closing Pct. So I started dating ugly chicks and my CP was almost off the charts.

You'd like to fill your team with top 150 players. Roster of 13, 4 years, so 3.25 players per year. Of the top 150, maybe 30-40 are worthy of offers due to character, academics, fit to style of play, and player interest. So a good closing percentage is 3.25 / 30-40 = 10%. If you want to fill your team with top 75 players, then you need to close on 20%. If top 35 players like Kentucky, then 40%.

If those are your numbers, you'd better change fields. 100,000 calls per account, 1 minute per call = 1 work year to acquire each account.
