So I just read an article in the Hartford Courant titled: March Madness coming and UConn basketball fans will need to pay up to watch some Big East games. The article singles out Peacock.
I mean just about every game both men's and women's are behind a paywall other than those on network TV. You need to pay to watch ESPN, CBS Sports Network FS1, TruTV, TNT TV etc. So why single out Peacock?

Probably because Peacock is a standalone pay streaming service and the others you cite are included in the basic cable/satellite packages of many TV providers.
Some Peacock programming is now available on a limited number of cable providers under the new NBCSN network.

Are games being shown on NBC SN?
According to the Big East website, the Tournament games are only on Peacock.
Some of the regular season games streamed on Peacock were also available on NBC SN. For example, the UConn game at Villanova was available on both.

It looks like in the New York area on Youtube TV the BE tournament games will be on NBC SN.
Makes sense, YTTV was the first tv provider to broadcast the relaunched NBC SN. I didn't know if it was a regional or national network.

This is what I was relying on for the source of my previous post...

A question for the group: is there any way to record games on Peacock? (I get Peacock via Roku.) I have conflicts with some of the tournament games, and would love to watch them delayed.

Peacock has a lot of sports replays available; I would hope that the BE tournament would be among them. (Streaming services generally use an on-demand model rather than a DVR model).

You need to subscribe to the "Peacock Premium Plus" tier to have the option to record.

Add the scheduled game to your MY STUFF option.
1. Find the game in the Live & Upcoming section. If the game has started, select the INFO, then select the + MY STUFF option. If the game hasn't started, select the + MY STUFF option.
2. When you want to see the replay, from the main screen, select the + MY STUFF menu item. Your game(s) will be there.
I did this for every game so far, and all are still available for me.

Also, most games are available as replays too. I don't know how long after the game that they are posted. But with the MY STUFF method, you know that you will have the replay as soon as it is posted and you get to keep it.

Thank God they are as well…
Don't know if you need invoke the Deity for your good fortune in getting to watch wcbb games. I save my heavenly kudos for anything I don't have to pay for, and there ain't much of that.
If we win the NC, thank Geno.

Hint hint: get a Walmart+ account for free (they give 30 days I believe) and you get Peacock Premium and can watch just fine!

I wore mine out already, but if you don't mind a few emails from Walmart and Peacock once you do, it's 30 days of free TV!
