It is a down year but the Big East was screwed over by Covid more than any of the other big conferences. They beat up on each other in conference play but never got to improve resumes with out of conference matchups.

I think they all did that, but it meant that the teams that had high rankings coming in kept those. The whole system is messed this year. B1G looks good because it looked good pre-season, and not really for any other reason.
