Was listening to the game on SiriusXM and the Providence announcers were amusing -
- we gotta get something going, it's dead in here
- UConn with a pick and roll ... Providence has been getting killed on that all season
- Diara looks to be favoring his knee, wonder what's up (my dude, read the scouting report)
- man, there's that UConn pick and roll again, we just can't defend it

Career high for points, rebounds, and blocked shots in a single game, safe to say Tarris Reed Jr. was player of the game. Double digit assists for “Shoeless” Diarra was nice. Four double digit scorers. AK looked good on the NBA range three, maybe from now on he needs to step back a couple steps when shooting threes.

Great team effort. When LM started to struggle offensively we got Solo and AK involved. And Reed will make us dangerous if he can keep this up. Got to keep Diarra healthy and on the floor.

Tarris is a dominant big and I hope this is the final nail in the coffin on the even split nonsense with Samson and Reed. Hurley keeps saying he goes with the hot hand between them. That needs to be over. 24/18/6 for the beast.

Best Hass, Solo, Liam, AK, and Tarris looked together. All their jobs are easier with the big man in there.

The bench is a major problem, I'm not including Tarris because we all know he should be the starter. Going to have to ride our core 5.

After the Seton Hall game I was flying out of the country in a cranky mood for 17 hours. I am glad UConn took care of business as I will be flying back home in a much better mood : )

Nice job, Tarris. Kick ass booooiiiiii (Flavor Flavor voice)!!

First game in a while where it feels like we’re UConn again. Well done team.
This was the most complete game they played all year. No really bad stretches in the game.
Reed showed he can totally dominate and take over the game. He has to start and play 25+ minutes the rest of way. Samson is good but he can’t bring what Reed brought today.
I would like to see Samson get some minutes at 4 with Reed in there when Karaban takes a breather.

Really strong performance from our bench today. 24 points, 18 rebounds, 7 blocks, 2 steals! ;)

Tarris Reed needs to play every single minute possible. If he’s not in foul trouble, or if he doesn’t need some rest, he needs to be in the game. WHAT A MONSTER GAME FROM BIG HOSS TARRIS REED!

Great three point shooting across the board as well. Great game playmaking from Diarra with 10 assists

That was fun!

I loved Tarris Reed's game, would like to see more aggression from McNeeley, Alex is taking things slower on his drives and outside shooting, which is helping him a lot.

Defense is still a huge concern because PC missed a lot of makeable shots.

Against any other team than DePaul or Butler, it would've been a tight game.

Hurley calling that timeout at the end to ensure the opponents senior walk-ons played on Senior day is a testament to the man that he is.

Hopefully all of those hating on him lately can take notice.
It definitely showed his respect for the game and traditions of college basketball.

A Reed show and hopefully an Alex come back to life game. Scary when Solo and Mcneeley got those two quick got fouls. Of we all expected Johnson caused fouls.

Our defense is our defense at this point. Outscore the other team. There’s no point in harping on it after every win or loss. Away wins are always nice. Keep rolling.
