For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. UConn plays 29-3 South Dakota State the #11 seed in the second round of the Big Dance. The Jackrabbits 74-68 win against Oklahoma State in the first round gets the honor of playing the Huskies. They are rated #38 by Massey and their best win was against #29 Creighton 76-71 and worst loss was against #35 Georgia Tech 75-70. This is the first ever meeting between the two teams, just like the first-round game against Arkansas St, where the Huskies walked off with a 103-34 shellacking. UConn seasons turn around was after the loss to Tennessee, they’ve averaged 83.6 points a game and had a winning margin of 35.18 points over those last 11 games. The only team that was within 25 points was Creighton whose two losses were only 19 and 20 points. The Huskies played throughout the game 12 different players, with the most minutes played being 22 by Paige, Kaitlyn and Azzi. While South Dakota St used 8 players with one playing the whole 40 minutes, two with 34+ minutes and 2 with 25+ minutes. UConn will be well rested and should have its way with the Jackrabbits. Geno showed that he has UConn ready for the tournament and baring any injuries they should end the season cutting down the nets.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 15 minutes prior to scheduled game-time. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.

- The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or South Dakota St/Jackrabbits. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
- If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
- If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
- This game won’t be close, I believe that UConn will play all available players and everyone will score. Huskies 95– Jackrabbits 45. The game time and channel is unknown and will be announced later.
