UConn plays 6-13 St. John’s in the first game of the Big East Quarter Finals at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. The Red Storm 66-50 win over Butler gives them the honor of meeting UConn for the third time this season. The Huskies won both meetings first 71-45 at St. John’s in Carnesecca Arena in front of 4,917 fans on 1/15/25 and 78-40 in Gampel in front of 10,299 fans. The outcome should be the same as the first two meetings, maybe even with a larger margin of victory. The Red Storm is playing less than 24 hours after their first-round game, so there might be a lack of energy from the Bulldogs later in the game against a rested UConn. The Huskies are going for their 12th straight Conference Tournament with them winning all 7 tournaments in the AAC and winning this years’ BE tournament would be the 5th straight. This will be the start of their mission of wining NC #12 for the outgoing Seniors and for Geno and CD.

All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 11:45 AM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.

• The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or St. John’s/Red Storm. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
• If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
• If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
• This game won’t be close, I believe that UConn will play all available players and everyone will score. UConn 93 – Red Storm 48.
