For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.
UConn plays their 4th game of the season against Ohio State at Peoples Bank Arena in Hartford on 11/16/25 at Noon. UConn and Ohio State have met 7 times with UConn having a 6-1 record. Their largest MOV was a 100-56 win at Ohio State on 11/16/15, their smallest MOV was a 73-62 win also at Ohio State on 11/24/19. UConn’s only loss was on 03/25/23 in the Sweet Sixteen 61-73 ending their streak of 14 consecutive Final Four appearances. The Buckeyes are 2-0, rated #16 by Massey with an SOS of #243 with wins against Coppin State 88-59 and Bellarmine 90-33, Massey has Coppin State rated #252 and Bellarmine #314, so they’ve played two teams that are rated 45 and 107 positions below Xavier, the worst team in the Big East rated at #207. This game should be between the Huskies wins over Louisville and Florida State, maybe even between the FSU win and the Loyola-Chicago win.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 11:45 AM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted. The game is on Peacock.
The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Ohio State/Buckeyes . No "85-55 the good guys", if there isn't a winning team stated in the prognostication it will not be counted. If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the scheduled closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed. If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
I believe that UConn will keep the Cambridge sisters in check and this game shouldn’t be as close as some people believe it will be. UConn will play at least 9 players, and everyone will score. UConn 89 – Ohio State 63.
