For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. UConn plays their final regular season game in Madison Square Garden vs St. John’s on 3/1 at 7:00 PM ET. UConn won the first season match up 88-43 on 1/7 in Hartford 88-43. They are currently 21-9 and 11-8 in Big East play. They’ve gone 8-5 since the UConn loss with wins against Butler, 49-39, at Xavier 66-64, Villanova 71-58, at Providence 62-57, vs Xavier 71-52, vs Seton Hall 67-61, at Butler 58-47 and at Seton Hall 59-56. Their losses were at Georgetown 34-59, vs Marquette 55-56, at Creighton 51-81, at DePaul 68-72 and vs Georgetown 60-62. The Red Storm average 63.3 points per game while giving up 60.4 points per game, which is 9th on offense and 2nd on defense, vs UConn at 88.8 points on offense and 50.7 points on defense, both are #1 in Conference play. UConn will go undefeated 31-0 and 20-0 in league play going into the Conference Tournament next weekend at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville with their first game on March 6th at 11:00 AM ET.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 7:15 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted. The game is on TNT/truTV.
The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or St John’s/Red Storm. No "85-55 the good guys", if there isn't a winning team stated in the prognostication it will not be counted. Once your prediction is posted If you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post, NO changing of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the scheduled closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed. If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
I believe that UConn will limit the Red Storm to under 55 points in scoring and this game won’t be close. UConn will play all available players, and everyone will score. UConn 89 – St. John’s 51.
