Prognosticator's Predictions Game 31 Marquette vs UConn @Gampel (Sun 3/2/25 2:00PM Eastern)

For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.

UConn plays their 31st and final regular season game of the season at Gampel against Marquette. This is Senior Night for Aubrey and Azzi, Paige had hers last year, unfortunately it is on FOX so unless SNY is covering the festivities there will be very little coverage except for UConn+. UConn beat the Golden Eagles 77-45 on 1/1/25 in the Al McQuire Center in Milwaukee, the game was not close even though Paige and Azzi shot a combined 7-25 and 4-14 from 3pt line. This is their final regular season game, and both want to get the game under control from the tip off. I predict that the starting five will be Paige, Azzi, Aubrey, Caroline and Sarah and that the sellout crowd will go crazy with Caroline’s introduction. If Caroline is not in the starting line-up, then she is most likely planning on returning next season. This is the final tune-up before the Big East Tournament at the Mohegan Sun, Geno will most likely play no more than 9 players getting ready for both the Big East and the NCAA tournaments. The missis and I will be celebrating our 49th wedding anniversary this weekend so we may not be back until a couple of hours after the game is completed. The winners will be posted sometime on Sunday night.



All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 1:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.

• The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Marquette/Golden Eagles. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
• If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
• If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
• This game won’t be close, I believe that UConn will play all available players and everyone will score. UConn 85 – Marquette 50.
