For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.

UConn plays their third game of the season against the North Carolina Tar Heels, in Greensboro Coliseum and are currently 3-0 with wins over Charleston Southern 83-53, UNC Wilmington 77-50, and NC A&T 66-47. Not exactly Top 200 teams, at the time of the game according to Massey, Charleston So was ranked 347, UNC-W was 346, and NC A&T is 223. This will be the thirteenth game between the two teams, the first game was on 3/26/94 with NC winning 81-69 in Piscataway, NJ. UConn has an 8-4 record with going 2-4 in the first 6 contest while winning the last 6. The largest loss was on 12/5/05 in Storrs 77-54, while the largest win was on 1/16/12 in Gampel 86-35. The most recent game was last year on 12/10/23 in Uncasville with a 76-64 win.

They have an experienced team returning with 4 of their 5 starters with a combined total of 46 of their 64 points and 31 of their 43 rebounds. The team has 4 Seniors, 3 Juniors, 2 Sophomores and 5 Freshman. If UNC plays like they have over the first three games, they will not be in the game after the first half.

All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 5:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.

• The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or NC/Tar Heels. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
• If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
• If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
• This game won’t be close after the first half, I believe that UConn will play all available players, and everyone will score. UConn 85 – UNC 65.

UConn has not won a regular season road game against a ranked, non-BE team, with actual fans in the stands, since December 2018 at 13th ranked Cal. Technically, this game is in Greensboro and not Chapel Hill, but that’s kind of like Hartford vs Storrs for UConn.
