For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.
UConn plays their 28th game of the season at Finneran Pavilion against Villanova at team the Huskies demolished back on Jan 15th in Storrs 99-50, with the Huskie starting five outscoring Nova 60-50. Nova is currently 20-5 and 13-3 in Conference with a 7-1 record since their loss to the Huskies. Their 58-71 loss was at St. John’s, with wins vs Butler 73-65, vs Providence 83-68, vs DePaul 69-56, at Butler 67-57, vs Georgetown 67-55, at Xavier 78-38 and at Creighton 74-64. With a win against Wildcats UConn locks up the Big East regular season title and enters the BE Tournament as the Number One seed.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 6:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted. The game is on PEACOCK.
The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Villanova/Wildcats. No "85-55 the good guys", if there isn't a winning team stated in the prognostication it will not be counted. Once your prediction is posted If you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post, NO changing of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the scheduled closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed. If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
I believe that UConn will again limit Nova below their scoring average of 73 points a game and it shouldn’t be close. UConn will play all available players, and everyone will score. UConn 95 – Wildcats 55.
