For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.
UConn plays their 27th game of the season game at Marquette in Milwaukee, the site where back on 2/8/23 the Huskies lost to the Golden Eagles 52-59, losing back-to-back games for the first time in over 30 years and their only loss in the history of the series. UConn is 23-1 winning their last matchup back in December in Hartford 89-53. Since that game Marquette has compiled an 8-4 record, going 7-4 in Conference play. Their 4 losses are 66-73 vs St John’s, 61-64 at Seton Hall, 54-63 vs Georgetown and vs Seton Hall 70-58. Their wins have been 67-54 @Xavier, 85-69 vs Villanova, 67-49 vs Creighton, 56-55 at St John’s, 64-60 at Butler and 74-73 vs Georgetown.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 12:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted. The game is on FS1.
The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Marquette/Golden Eagles. No "85-55 the good guys", if there isn't a winning team stated in the prognostication it will not be counted. Once your prediction is posted If you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post, NO changing of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the scheduled closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed. If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
I believe that UConn will limit the Golden Eagles in scoring, keeping them below their 70 points a game average, while scoring over 90. UConn will play all available players, and everyone will score. UConn 95 – Golden Eagles 55.
