Prognosticator's Predictions Game 23 Butler vs UConn @XL (Sun 2/2/25 1:00PM Eastern)

For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. UConn plays their 23rd of the season against the Butler Bulldogs in the Play4Kay Pink Game. This will be the last game for Aubrey, Azzi and Paige at the XL Center, unless one of them decides to stay for one more year. UConn is 6-0 against the Bulldogs with their first game 103-35 win at Gampel which is also the largest MOV in the series. The smallest MOV was last year’s game at the XL Center 88-62. In league play UConn averages 80.27 points a game while only giving up only 47.36 points a game, Butler is averaging 54.6 points a game while giving up 61.8 points a game. Butler is rated #122 by Massey with a 12-11 and 2-8 in conference play after their 71-48 loss at Seton Hall who UConn just recently demolished 96-36 at Gampel. Their best win was against Indiana rated #33 56-46, while their worst loss is at Xavier rated #230 49-50. Massey is only giving them a 1% chance of winning, with UConn winning 82-44. I think that’s too low of a point output by UConn. Geno will have the chance to play all different types of line ups in this game and I don’t see anyone getting more than 25 minutes of playing time.

All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 12:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.

• The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Butler/Bulldogs. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
• If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
• If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
• This game will not be close, UConn will play all available players, maybe even CD and everyone will score. UConn 100 – Butler 45.
