For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.

UConn plays their 21st game of the season and their first conference meeting against second place Creighton Bluejays. This game is part of a UConn/Creighton double header, with the women’s team playing first then the men’s follow, both games are at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. Creighton is currently 16-3 and 8-0 in conference play. They are rated by Massey as #27 with an SOS of 22. Their best win is against Massey rated #33 Nebraska 80-74 and worst loss is to Massey rated #41 at S. Dakota St 76-71. Their other two losses are at Kansas St 86-68 and vs UCLA 70-41 rated by Massey #8 and #2 respectively. Their conference wins are at Xavier 85-54, @St. John’s 75-56, vs Butler 68-64, at Providence 60-46, vs Marquette 71-68, at Seton Hall 72-64, vs DePaul 92-71 and at Butler 63-52. UConn has a 9-0 record against Creighton with the first game being the only non-conference 96-60 win at Gampel on 11/23/14. The other eight have been Big East Conference games. The smallest margin of victory was at Gampel on 2/15/23 62-60 and the largest margin of victory was at the XL Center on 1/3/24 94-50. They have yet to play against each other in the BE tournament. Last year they were upset by Georgetown 55-46 in the Semi-Finals.

All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 5:15 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.

• The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Creighton/Bluejays. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
• If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
• If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
• This may be the closest conference game so far, but I believe that UConn will prevail with the win. UConn only plays 9 players and everyone will score. UConn 85 – Creighton 55.
