For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. UConn travels to Indiana to play Big East opponent Butler in their 13th game of the season, they have the honor of playing in one of the most beautiful field houses in the nation. Butler who is currently 7-6 and 1-2 in the Big East and plays their home games in the historic Hinkle Fieldhouse. Where Ash lead Nobesville High School in wining the Class 4A state championship and earned the title of Indiana Gatorade POY as a junior in 2022. UConn and Butler have met 8 times with the closest game being an 88-62 win at Hartford on 12/18/23 and the biggest win was a 103-55 win at Storrs. UConn averages 91 points a game vs while giving up 44.6 points to Butler. Their wins are vs Wright State 74-53, vs Northern Kentucky 73-56, vs WI Milwaukee, Dayton 92-66, vs Indiana St 101-56, Eastern IL 74-52 and vs Xavier 64-58. Their losses are vs Columbia 69-74OT, vs Central Michigan 59-68, @Indiana 53-72, Georgia 54-80, @Seton Hall 51-70 and @Marquette 55-80. The Massey at the time they were played are Wright St #292, Columbia #60, C. Michigan #140, N. Kentucky #232, Indiana #31, WI Milwaukee #277, Dayton #155, Georgia #32, Seton Hall #62, Marquette #53, Indiana St #264, E. Illinois #290 and Xavier #161. Massey gives them a 0% chance of a win and has UConn winning by a score of 84-46. Considering that has played both Xavier and Marquette winning 104-39 @Xavier and 89-53 vs Marquette I see no problems in UConn coming with a major win maybe even larger numbers than the Xavier game.

The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Butler/Bulldogs. No "85-55 the good guys", if there isn't a winning team stated in the prognostication it will not be counted. Once your prediction is posted If you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. NO changing of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the scheduled closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed. If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
Over the first 12 games UConn has averaged 89.8 points versus giving up 52.9 points. In Conference play it’s been 98.3 to 42.3. They will limit the Butler Bulldogs to less than 40 points, maybe even more, if they play their A game on defense. UConn will play all available players, and everyone will score. UConn 109 – Butler 38.
