For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.
UConn plays their 9th game of the season against BE rival DePaul at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs. UConn is 25-0 against the Blue Demons with the largest MOV being a 91-44 in 2/10/13, smallest MOV was a 77-76 win on 3/1/08 in Chicago. This will be the tenth time they have met as conference rivals. UConn averages 88 points per game against DePaul versus the Blue Devils 62.5 scoring average, I believe the Huskies will score more than their average while limiting DePaul below theirs. At the time of this writing DePaul is 2-6 with wins against Valparaiso 92-54 and Grambling 75-39. Their losses are against UNLV 78-85, Bradley 64-78, Northwestern 72-79, N. Colorado 60-61, Loyola Chicago 49-61 and Princeton 41-71. They have a game today against Marquette, so they will most likely be 2-7 when they meet at Gampel Pavilion. I loved it when Doug and Geno coached against each other, they also coached together on the USA teams for both the Olympics and the World Games.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 12:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted. The game is on FS1.
The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or DePaul/Blue Devils. No "85-55 the good guys", if there isn't a winning team stated in the prognostication it will not be counted. Once your prediction is posted If you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post, NO changing of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the scheduled closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed. If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
I believe that UConn will limit their scoring and this game won’t be close. UConn will play all available players, and hopefully everyone will score. UConn 105 – Blue Devils 42.
